What is the best piece of racing advice you have ever been given?

Don't crash!

What do you admire most in the sport?

Michael Schumacher and his ability to put a car anywhere he wants.

Who do you see as a main rival?

Anyone in front of me at any given race meeting - there's not just one.

How do nerves and/or fear affect your driving? How do you overcome them?

If i'm in a car full time I don’t really get nervous. If I have been out of the seat for a while I'm normally ok by the end of pratice1.

What is your favourite circuit and why?

I think it's between lakeside when we used to race there and Bathurst - they are real driver tracks.

Describe your most memorable accident:

HAHA the same as probably most people - Adelaide 2004 Turn 8. surprised??

Describe your best moment in racing:

I have a few, the last was probably Winning Holden Young Lions, which was the first win for them in 2004

Which is your favourite race?

Favourite race car ever driven would be a V8 supercar but i'd give anything to have a go in a F1 car - it’s the pinnacle of all motorsport.

What is the worst thing about V8 Ute Racing?

I think because they are production based cars there are a few that know tricks to assist them getting to the front of the field! I think this class is where skill can and should be shown and people of that nature seem to get caught eventually.

What is the best thing about V8 Ute Racing?

It's close, there is always passing involved - each car has there strong and weak point and I think the fans enjoy it more.

How do you keep fit?

I used to be a personal trainer on the Sunshine Coast so when need be, I get into the weights or kick boxing for cardio, or reaction work when there's been lack of one or the other.

How do you prepare for a race? Do you have any superstitions?

Try just to relax the week before if i'm in a championship. I sometimes go over previous or sent data from years before so when I hit the track it's all in my head already.

What is the significance of your helmet design?

My new one is white but soon to be painted and changed from my last design! The grim reaper hiding his sigh means i'm just waiting for the right opportunity haha
