RMHC is an independent, non-profit organisation, that helps seriously ill children and their families when they need it most. They were founded in memory of McDonald's creator, Ray Kroc, who believed in charitable works as a way of putting something back into the community. McDonald's Australia pays all administration and management costs of RMHC and are a generous donor, the rest of the essential funds we require we raise ourselves.

Since we opened our first Ronald McDonald House in 1981 we have helped over 65,000 families and 1 in 8 Australian's have been helped or know someone who has used one of our programs.
